We conducted comprehensive usabilitytesting to ensure a seamless user experience, focusing on intuitive navigation and feature functionality. Real users were invited to interactwith the app, providing feedback on the adoption, rehoming, and pet journey sharing processes.This helped identify and resolve any issues, ensuring the app is user-friendly and efficient.
Retrospective
The project focused on creating a user-friendly platform for pet adoption and rehoming.We prioritized understanding the needs of both adopters and pet owners through userresearch,which informed the design of the app.This ensured a seamless adoption process and efficient rehoming experience.
Continuous iteration and usertestingwere conducted throughout the development process.We rapidly prototyped and tested features to optimize the user journeyfor both adopters and pet owners.This resulted in an user friendly interface that enables easy browsing of adoptable pets, seamless rehoming of pets, sharing of pet journeyswithin the community, and smart maps to find important locations.
With the use of UI Kit andvariants,we maintained design consistency. Ultimately, these efforts balanced usability with user needs, significantly improving the overallexperience.
